On Monday 27 April at Rome's MAXXI – (Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo) from 10:30am to 1pm there is to be an event on “The City: Babel of Jerusalem?" The initiative is part of a collaboration of the Courtyard of the Gentiles and the Italian Ministry for Education and Research and is the third episode of the project the Courtyard of the Students for those in their final years of high school.
As ever the great questions of existence are at the focus of the initiative creating a respectful dialogue between great figures of belief and unbelief/atheism. The theme takes inspiration from a passage of Pope Francis' Apostolic Exhortation, Evangelii Gaudium "How beautiful are those cities which overcome paralysing mistrust, integrate those who are different and make this very integration a new factor of development! How attractive are those cities which, even in their architectural design, are full of spaces which connect, relate and favour the recognition of others!"
The event is in Italian only and can be followed via @cortiledeigenti.
