From 19 - 21 February 2015, Bishop Carlos Alberto Azevedo is in Moscow for a series of meetings in the context of the mixed Working Group for the Coordination of Cultural Projects between the Holy See and the Patriarchate of Moscow.

Other members of the delegation include Rev. Andrea Ciucci, from the Pontifical Council for the Family and Rev. Hyacinthe Destivelle, OP, from the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity.

Among their appointments is a meeting with an Orthodox Delegation composed of Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov), Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov) and other distinct academic, ecclesiastic and cultural personalities.

Despite the economic difficulties currently afflicting Moscow, the group is laying the foundations for the establishment of an exhibition of religious paintings, summer schools for students, concerts and festivals, catechesis and literary moments.
