Dialogue for a Better Living Together between Cultures
The Second Meeting of Directors of Catholic Cultural Centres in Africa took place at the Centre National Cardinal Paul Zoungrana, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from the 25th to the 29th of November 2008 on the theme The Catholic Cultural Centres of Africa: Dialogue between cultures for a better living together.
It was the next stage in an important initiative to promote a Christian humanism in dialogue with the lived reality of today’s African cultures in building, under the grace of the Holy Spirit, a new civilization of love.
34 directors of Catholic cultural centres in Africa representing 12 countries in the region gathered to reflect on their cultural identities and how these can be used as values and resources for the evangelisation of Africa.
